- The mystic quest to find PKs on Divinity. -

Lynch's first quest.

About me: I've been on Divinity a few weeks now, I don't have a PK character, and I never have on any shard. I've played UO for around 10 years now, and enjoyed it greatly the entire time.
My characters are always either crafter or PvMer, but I can do PvP if I have to, I just suck at it.
Enough about me though! Let's get on with it.

On this glorious morning, our hero, Lynch Everyman, decides to experience the 'red problem' on Divinity for himself.
We find our hero in Yew, disguised as PK bait.

Having heard a great deal about villians racing around in red paint killing other players, he decides to investigate.
I forgot to take screenshots on my way, but our hero's first destination on this lovely morning is Shame.

Once inside the dungeon, Lynch realizes that he travelled a bit lighter than he probably should have.
Lost in the darkness of Shame without a nightsight potion or a candle! For shame, mr. Everyman.
But that never stopped anyone as determined as our hero before.

He decides that he should make himself look busy fighting monsters, for the sounds of metal on earth might attract one of these bright-red people.
Not to mention he gets some gold out of the deal! Snap.

Moments later, however, he begins to find himself bored, and eager for some action.
Not to mention ruing his decision not to bring a nightsight potion.
BUT SUDDENLY, CRISIS STRIKES.

Curses! Just what he wanted. And no potions or aids?! Damn those pointy blobs! Er, Scorpions!

Making haste to the wandering healer outside, our hero considers abandoning Shame for a better location.
There just don't seem to be any PKs about!

Standing, waiting to die so he can be resurrected again, Lynch decides on a new location to look for these cold-blooded newbie-gankers.
Despise! Yes. Despise... But first he has to get healed up, poisoned and about to die is no way to face a PK! It's very rude.
After killing the wandering asshole spider, our hero pleads to the wandering healer to help him.

Has she no heart?!
However, just before our hero takes a dirt nap, a miraculous thing happens, and several moments without screenshots later, he's good as new, with a swanky blue robe, ready to take on some murderous dogs.

Lookin' sharp there, mr. Everyman. PKs will flock from miles around to admire your attire.

On the way to Despise, Lynch finds a person! But they aren't painted red, nor are they ganking him. Curious...

After a quick stop in Brit to pick up some potions, our hero sets off to the north.
He checks to make sure his RP speak still works like any good PvMer should.
Satisfied that he can still bust out a ye or two, he proceeds to get lost in the fields above Brit, and desperately consults his cloth map that's tacked to the wall above his monitor.

Having located his bearings, he closes on Despise, telling himself what surely must be true.

Suddeny he's attacked! But... This isn't one of the red people who are supposed to litter the land.
He dodges past this nuisance and makes his way down the dirt road...

Once inside, he downs a black potion. Ahh the ability to see, 'tis a wonderous thing.
Note: Not on purpose, but I forgot to take screenshots a bunch in the dungeon. I have a few, but not as many as I would've liked.

After finding himself a couple of fights, and running into a single blue who didn't even stop to slaughter him, our hero decides to call it a day in Despise as well.
If only his screenshot key had worked all those times he pushed it! HE MIGHT'VE HAD MORE PICTURES TO SHOW ARRGGHGHR RARRHRHHRHH.

Outside, he expresses his annoyance at the less-than-exciting experience he just had in Despise.
Determined, our hero sets off for one last location. One that he's SURE will get him killed, oh yes.

That's usin' yer head, kid! AaRGRGHHG.

I should've mashed the screenshot key a little more.
This person was very amusing, he hid from me at first, then I explained I was looking for PKs, to which he responded "Oh," then ran off.
Back on topic, however, as anyone might have already guessed by our hero's ability to carry on a conversation with someone at the west gate of the cemetary...

What a fuddy duddy. Lynch decides to call it a day and get ready to go to work IRL, deciding on a final course of action for the futre.

FIN.
